Welcome to the Southdowns Postcard Club

The Club was founded in February 2010 to further the interests in postcard collecting. We meet on the second Wednesday of each month at:

Westham Village Hall,

Peelings Lane,

Westham,

BN24 5HE.

The doors open at 7 p.m.  to allow an hour’s trading before the main business and displays.


At each meeting there is a display of cards given either by a visiting speaker or members as well as evenings for members to show their cards on different topics.

Postcard collectors are called Deltiologists and they are interested in developing their photographic interests. These are varied and cover subjects such as local history, family history, transport, militaria, nostalgia, thematic topics and much more on postcards old and new.

Postcard dealers also attend our meetings and they are willing to search out any elusive wants you have so giving members a chance to build their collections without having to travel far afield. There is also an annual Postcard Fair for our Mat meeting which attracts over 10 dealers.

Our programme begins in February as we hold a party in December and our AGM and competition each January. Why not come along - you will receive a very warm welcome.
